Almost all the materials we used are imported except LLDPE, CPP Films and ink available in local.
We are importing from Korea, Taiwan, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia and China. We import various types of film such as OPP, PET, Nylon, VMPET, VMCPP, Aluminium Foil, various grades of PP and PE resin, Adhesive and Hardener, Printing Ink and variety of solvent. PVC film and Printing Ink are available in local.
Though we have regular suppliers both in local and abroad they are not the contracted suppliers. Our Suppliers take full responsibility for their products to meet the specifications mentioned on the certificate of analysis. Once it is not in full conformity with the specification, they compensate in cash or in kind as the situation allows.
Though we cannot make thorough quality control to the raw material, we always take visual checks before using the material. Quality Control Staffs are responsible to take visual checks.
We have over 40 machines in four full assembly lines such as Printing M/Cs, Laminating M/Cs, Inspection M/Cs, Slitting M/Cs and Sealing M/Cs. Having sufficient stocks of raw materials and four full assembly lines well secure the continuous supplies to all our Customers so that we can achieve the entire satisfaction from Customers.
Machinery maintenance works are done in weekly basis by our Maintenance Team led by an electronic engineer. Yearly servicing is also done accord with schedules and major overhaulings are done as necessary by Machine Suppliers in co-operation with our Maintenance Team. All our Machines are imported and the countries of origin are varying such as Korea, Taiwan and China.
We have a Spare Parts Store keeping over three hundred items and it is working 24/7 in order to avoid any production delays due to machine fault.
We have 64 staffs in our Quality Control Team and it is under direct supervision of General Manager in Administration Department. In order to be free from production teams’ influence, the quality control staffs are assigned to do on line and off line quality inspections. Final check to the raw material quality is performed by Q.C staffs before putting it on to the machine. And they also have to check the quality of products on line.
The required equipments for quality checks such as viscosity zahn cup, micro gauge and corona treatment pen and so on are provided to the Q.C staffs. We recently set up a laboratory to assist in quality check of both raw material, semi finished goods. We have installed some machines there such as tensile tester, drop test machine, friction test machine, sealing strength test machine, gas residue test machine. But it will take a time to be a full-fledge laboratory as we need to provide thorough trainings to our staffs how to use those machines effectively.
We intend the lab to assist all the quality checks and moreover to achieve entire satisfaction to all our customers.
We are producing various types of products for foodstuff, household, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, agricultural and other sectors.
Various types of composition are also available depending on the contents. Though all the shape of products are available only in rectangular shape, various type of sealing such as three side sealing, four side sealing, zipper, stand-up pouch and also available in roll for auto filling machines.
We are producing the performed bags with minimum 68 mm to maximum 1200 mm in length and minimum 38 micron to maximum 120 micron in thickness in various material compositions as customers require. And the maximum printing width of our machines is 1,000 mm.
We have a maintenance team with 22 members. The maintenance team is led by an electronic engineer. The senior staffs are well experienced as they have worked under close supervision of a Korea Technical Consultant almost ten years.
The team is divided into electrical and mechanical teams which are running 24/7.
They are responsible to repair and maintain all the operational machines in production and also the operation aided machines such as gen-sets, air compressors, water compressors, chillers, burners and so on. Periodical checks are done accord with schedule and they have to support the foreign engineers sent by Machine suppliers for major overhaul or periodical servicing as necessary.
We have Safety and Firefighting Team led by a former Airport Rescue and Fire Service Instructor, holder of safety certificates from abroad. All the safety practices are in accord with existing regulations of government bodies and the inspection team usually takes the audition yearly.
For fire safety, we store 100,000 gallons of water and installed three stationary firefighting engines with thirteen hydrants covering the whole compound of our factory and its neighboring. We keep about 160 dry chemical powder type fire extinguishers in range of 1kg to 50kg. We also have two numbers of foam branches (for low expansion foam). 24hrs look-out system is arranged for fire prevention and factory’s security. For fire prevention, the 14 nos of manual fire alarm call points with 3 nos of control panels, 8 nos of public address system (Audio system) is installed and the CCTV cameras are fitted for employees safety at machinery spaces. Moreover, sufficient security staffs are assigned at strategic points inside factory compound for general security system. Wet and Dry trainings for firefighting are periodically made in order to keep all the 26 crew members of our own firefighting squad alert. We have a Factory emergency plan and firefighting drill is performed monthly. Moreover, we put fire insurance at state-owned insurance company.
